Some Priorat wines are extra special to us, and Igneus Coster de L'Ermita is one of those wines. Made with old vines of 100% Carignan, this small production wine from one of our favorite regions and family bodegas is a big and bold treat! Balanced, whilst remaining seriously tasty, with a good structure.

Broad complexity. Nice and character-friendly attack, which as you taste it becomes more and more round. For us, it is one of the highest representatives of our land, both for the varieties, and for the nuances it expresses.

Aged for 12 months in 90% new fine-grained French oak barrels, 10% American oak. Nuances of redcurrants, raspberry & rosemary. Balsamic ending and fruity sensations. Has a certain wildness to it, which we here at Bodega Maestrazgo love!
