If you like whites, reds or if fizz is your thing we have got plenty of bottles ready to be popped. For team building events or groups who want a bit of a challenge, we have plans for that too. No wine expertise necessary – we love the enthusiastic novice best of all – we’ll provide you with the total package. Tastings usually take around 2-2.5-3 hours with lots of delicious food and plenty of wine-related chats and laughs along the way. Every group is different and so every wine tasting we create is different too! That’s part of the fun of it.
What Does a Typical Wine Tasting in Barcelona look like?
To begin each and every tasting, vermouth is served from the barrel at the front section of the bodega to start your journey through the world of Spanish wine. We will then explain all of the history of this famous local drink, the story behind the bodega & vermouth culture in Catalonia and finally, how vermouth is made and what makes it so special and unique! Our vermouth hasn’t changed since 1952 when we first opened our doors, so we think it’s pretty special… even if we do say so ourselves!

A table will be reserved for you in the seating area of the bodega. Alternatively, you can avail of our private tasting rooms for larger groups or for those of you who would like a more intimate experience. There you will enjoy a selection of our favourite wines, which will be chosen for you. An explanation of all wines, their regions and qualities will be included in your tasting experience.
We know that the best wine is enjoyed when paired with delicious food! Which is why all tastings include food boards over-flowing with Spanish meats / cheeses / olives & breads… make sure you don’t have a big lunch!
Depending on which package you choose, and whether your a large or small group, then your wine tasting in Barcelona starts to get interesting! We select some of our favourite wines to share with you and take you on a journey we hope you’ll remember long after you leave this wonderful city.
Our packages start at just €25 per guest. And of course, if you can’t come to us, we can even come to you!
